Worth repeating..

1. This is a vaporware announcement. There is no working software.
No process. No clearly defined purpose or niche. No customer support. There is no likely demand other than from other FI's that have similar scant leverage. This is so early, the name has not even been decided upon.

Mr. Marks, you are the Man! Right on with that report! The Exchange tried to pull a Microsoft with their FUD announcement and he exposed it for what its worth in his report.

Bid now at 35!

Thanks for the great post.

Vaporware - what a great way to give a complete analysis in just one word.

Born of fear, consortia are doomed to fail
James Marks is certainly worth to be listened to. Don't have time to read all the report thoroughly. Will do it the first thing tonight.

I may only guess that banks' management was fooled into this undertaking by its own IT departments who are desperately trying to avoid staff cuts through quiet times of freeze.

Well, what goes around comes around.

I see that DB Alex Brown came up with the same points as I did, among many others that I didn't.

The banks are in a tough position concerning bill presentment, with no effective points of leverage.

Exactly. They're going to attempt to reinvent the wheel that CKFR is already successfully marketing? RFLOL

This is a vaporware announcement. There is no working software. No process. No clearly defined purpose or niche. No customer support.

Exactly. How many billers did they announce had signed up for non-existent TEX? RFLOL in the silence that follows that question.

The only amazing thing about this vaporware is the sway the banks hold over the minds of ill-informed investors.
