TRID: value play in semi land TRID made a 50 mill investment in a Taiwan FAB shop a few years ago. That FAB shop just recently went public on the Taiwanese market and TRID's investment is now worth app. 107 mil. (see recent press release) They have 35 mil in cash no debt and are currently trading at a market cap of 121 mil, some 21 mil below the total of cash and the investment alone. If you beieve you can buy a semi on value, TRID is a very good canditate. ACTN: down in sympathy with RACN news. ACTN should be fine IMHO, might e a good time to pick up some shares prior to earnings. KIDE: Simply a great Pokemon play. They are Nintendos liscensing agent for sales outside of Asia. i.e. They get a piece of every card/video/t-shirt/lucnh box or the myriad of products Pokemon related, not sales of the game itself mind you. Pokemon movie due out in November, KIDE subsidary produced the movie, distribution will be by Warner Brothers. Daily TV show due out September, 12 show pilot had a god run highest rated kid show, also KIDE produced, follow on revs by way of video sales of TV shows. Pokemon still not a well known commodity.
