As you can see, there is no way that Iomega's Flop! can be used with the newer
portable devices. They are getting smaller and smaller, and they run on ONE "AAA"
battery. Iomega's Flop! probably won't even spin up on one AAA battery, let alone last
more than a minute before killing the battery!

I just read that IOM, along with citizen, has perfected a self winding
mechanism for their PCMIAII Clik!. Now by walking or lifting the camera to your eye will charge the battery.

Rocky -

Sandisk introduces a new flash format, eh? Hmmm. Let's see what happens when I run that news item through my Detractomatic software.

processing, please stand by . . .

OK, here we go:
________________

I thought CompactFlash was supposed to be the standard. Now they are going to cannibalize their own sales and confuse the marketplace with a whole new format that isn't even compatible with the old one. Sandisk's price to sales ratio is way too high. Their stock is on its way down, fast. Get out now before it's too late.
________________

You'll notice my copy of Detractomatic is set differently from yours. I have set mine to SANDISK=BAD.

BTW, just a little news flash for you. Iomega's Clik! drive is NOT larger than the whole MP3 player that news release talks about. Check out a PCMCIA card and you'll see.
