levy,

Going out for drinks in Manhattan can be quite expensive. Normally I have to sell off an odd lot of GNET stock just to finance a night on the town.

Cab to the Peninsula hotel for drinks on their rooftop: $8

Tanqueray and Tonic while enjoying spectacular views: $12 a pop

Scalp a ticket to a Knicks game and watch them lose: $1,500

Talk about GNET with online friends: Priceless

My apologies to the clever people who came up with that ad campaign

A couple of things on the competitive front we might want to investigate

We need to keep an eye on CMGI and Mr Wetherell. If he is willing to pay $2.5 billion for AltaVista I am feeling a little more secure with GNET's valuation. Need to think it through a bit. Why not just combine Raging Bull with Lycos and go after broadband partnering arrangements.

What is metacrawler worth vis a vis Alta Vista?

Is Dr. Oren Etzioni (metacrawler) smarter than Wetherell? Could be
