The trading so far represents the efforts of the investment bankers to get their clients, who sold after obtaining stock on the offering, out whole. You cannot buy this type of publicity anywhere.

Once the smoke clears expect those who remain short CKFR to cover as well as those institutions who want shares to buy.

When a secondary is canceled, what happens? Did investors actually have shares to sell? Is CheckFree liable for ML's fees?
