Lucky me -- I got post #666 on the Nostradamus thread

Had some fun on the Nostradamus Predictions thread:
Subject 19366
Supposedly, he predicted an eclipse in Late Summer 1999 (there will be one) with something very noticeable (perhaps even disastrous) coming from the sky (could be anything -- aurora, comet, asteroid, nukes, UFOs, ...) Found lots of questionable astononomical arguments are on the Internet from the Nostradamus faithful. Hopefully, in October everyone will laugh about it.

Y2K computer messes will be a real event that just by chance is aligning with other predictable 'paranormal' events. Nostradamus is butone example. I hope that Y2K messes will be relatively small, with the expected result a nasty recession/worst case of a 5-year mild depression.

But the religious doomers may hyperventilate when they see the relatively mild Y2K messes, which in their minds confirm their armagedon prophecy. Wonder how the market and society will be affected by these sorts of people.
