NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 1999--PanAmerican Internet Group, the "dot.com" subsidiary of PanAmerican BanCorp, announced yesterday that Deao Internet Services will launch in the New York Metro area on July 6, 1999. The Deao Internet Services division of PanAmerican Internet Group will provide commercial web site hosting, commercial and personal ISDN services, and dial up Internet access. Interested parties are encouraged to visit the new PanAmerican Internet Group web site, www.panamigroup.net, for more information or to sign up online beginning July 6. William Black, President of PanAmerican Internet Group and Chief Technical Officer of PanAmerican BanCorp said, "One of the distinctive characteristics of our Deao dial up is the ability for customers to sign up online and have their account activated in about one hour. Unlike other ISPs that make users wait for days for a start up disk to arrive in the mail, Deao dial up users can get online almost immediately." The development of Deao Internet Services also provides a competitive advantage for PanAmerican Bancorp, as their dot.com division plans to expand regional Deao dial up and ISDN services to nation-wide coverage. "As a national ISP, we can more effectively support PanAmerican BanCorp in their endeavors, such as the DigiBill(TM) joint marketing agreement with Healthwyz, Inc., Insider Trading's remote online trading, and PanAmerican Healthcorp. It will also provide us with a captive audience for the Deao.com web site, which will be marketed synergistically with Deao Internet Services," commented Black.
