The kit will integrate Palm-size PCs with data-capable digital cellular phones, enabling users of the Palm-size PCs to access their e-mail, browse Internet content and synchronise personal information manager information, with just one telephone call. Microsoft is working with AvantGo to enable the kit to also provide on-demand wireless synchronisation of all AvantGo's content and information services. The kit is expected to be distributed via carriers in North America in 4Q'99, priced under US$100.
