Actually, I don't consider it manipulation, but taking into account what the market is looking for and optimizing release of news to take the most effect from technical conditions. But of course if a company delayed releasing material information for weeks waiting for the "right conditions", that would be a different scenario. Many companies delay releasing important news when they feel the prevailing market conditions would ignore it. That's why many companies don't release on Mondays or Fridays since oftentimes traders either are watching other issues or are taking extended weekends. Btw, I'm not suggesting that MSU is watching technicals. I suggesting that they should in order to "manage" shareholder expectations rather than manipulating them. MSFT, DELL, and so many other great companies have found favor exactly for those reasons. Managing shareholders expectations and always lowballing their expected earnings and revenues. Is that manipulation?? Hmmm.. depends on who you ask. Regards, Ron
