Kash: RE: "item 4. Intel pricing on the coppermine and 600 MHz PIII." In my opinion for AMD to succeed, they can never depend on anything intc does in the next two years. When the coppermine and 600 PIII are introduced, AMD has to be ready to bring out its 700 MHz chip so that there is no point at which intc controls pricing. And AMD must continue to execute in this manner until it has a war chest of money with which to fight. It will be a major hassle but so long as intc controls prices, AMD will not stand a chance if it depends on intc doing things a particular way. I think that intc is seriously threaten and like anything else that has been cornered, will fight to near death. ted
