Richard, good point on sample sizes. Core drilling will result in smaller sample amounts than normal drilling. But potential risk is still present that loss of fines in water/air drilling will result in underreporting of COC results. Maybe not significant if results are still sufficient to justify recovery. While confirmation of mapping is important, the results also have to be good enough to justify additional investment, IMO.

A trade-off which might be hard to resolve at present. Maxam appears to be opting for the less expensive but higher risk approach - maybe the proper decision but only time will tell. Would still like to see at least one confirmatory core hole but cost may be prohibitive to bring in eqpt for only one hole.
