I have not heard anyone on the Street make that statement.

What I have heard from those that are bearish on the Street is that even though DELL is by far the best situated of the PC vendors, the slowing trends, particularly in the business sector, are bound to affect DELL, albeit not as bad as CPQ. This, combined with DELL's valuation, lead some to be negative on DELL, not a disbelief of M. Dell.

As long as I've been in DELL, this stock has had its doubters. The nice thing about a stock market is that if you disagree, you can back your opinions with your wallet. If you're right, you'll laugh all the way to the bank. If you're wrong, you pay the price.

Either way, someone will profit.

Viewing the misinformed as the creators of trading opportunity makes for a happy investor.
