Tom,

OT response

I would except I would be busy playing golf with engineer and Harvey that morning and going to the baseball game with Caxton in the afternoon.

Mission Trails is a bare, ugly, hot park filled with rattle snakes this time of the year. My wife climbs the peak (Cowles Mountain) in the park 3 times a week, so consider that my participation of the event.

Besides, I am all for child abuse (as Diamond H would agree) and domestic violence so they do not need to teach me.

Tom,

more seriously, what type of foot print would the OmniPoint deal create? Anyone using Omnipoint right now? Comments on service and cost in comparison to the CDMA providers?

I think sooner or later, CDMA and GSM, not to mention ATT TDMA, would be fighting nation wide in every market. Forget about 3G for now because it is too far in the future. The immediate question is whether the CDMA providers can crush the TDMA based providers due to a lower cost basis. Just think what that would do for QC in the next few years before W-CDMA kicks in.
