AntDude,
An interesting point in SI's history. A crossroad of sorts. Whereas I am ambivalent about the datek ad in its current form, I do see it as an overall change in management's policy. My main concern is with what I see as preferential treatment to the "gurus" that bring the big page views. I can understand the profit motive, but I am saddened by the loss of the spirit of SI and moreover by the increasing loss of certain SI members who, in my opinion helped to provide the heart and soul of SI.

Somehow, I don't think that the "new" SI, that is soon to be beta tested, will be able offset these losses.
