musciguy: I did not say "he" gave it out himself. But "he" has had his share of run ins...and others have been suspended (I suspect) for posting who he is and where he works. I know I have seen the name and company posted before on his thread, but I have no personal knowledge the postings were correct.

SI is very protective of personal information posted publicly by one member about another member. However, when SI is subpoenaed for personal information they have a double standard. They will give out your personal information on file and in what I "assume" is in most cases, make no required effort to inform the member. Per SI's Legal Department......

SI responds to dozens of subpoenas each week......SI makes an effort to inform its members when identifying information about them is requested in a subpoena. Due to time constraints, however, SI does not always have the time to inform its members of such subpoenas. For example, many times a subpoena will be received by SI from the government or a private party which has a very limited response time.

Its kinda hard to find evidence of identity revealed when the management removes the offending posts.
