W.B. There is no need for caustic responses to my comments on CNBC. I generally don't respond to such posts but twice now I have received this type of post or hate E-Mail from Dell supporters. You must understand that I am not saying anything about management or the companies fundamentals which I am sure are fine. I deal with supply and demand and in the final analysis it is the irrifutable law of supply and demand that causes all price movement. Since the Point & Figure chart takes volatility out of the equation the chart patterns are very clear and concise. When the chart suggests supply is in control the probability is lower prices. I say probability as nothing is for sure on Wall Street. We are also totally prepared to reverse course if the match between supply and demand suggests demand is back in control. This typically does not happen overnight but in some cases it can. We also have other indicators for stocks such as Relative Strength vs market and sectors and the sector itself. When the stock appears to have no clear direction as DELL does not for now, covered writing is a strategy that might make sense for the right account. I have written on my position for four expirations and was finally called this last expiration. Nothing prevents me from repurchasing DELL once the stock is again controlled by demand. Nothing is perfect but the Point & Figure method coupled with fundamental analysis is a winning combination.

I can't understand why the postes on the DELL thread have such hate for anyone who says anything other than a glowing report on the stock.
I haven't seen it on any other stock. I welcome all of you to the Point & Figure thread where you will find some of the brightest investors I have seen who are friendly and willing to help eachother. It's kind of an all for one and one for all thread. You might find it refreshing. I haven't seen one analyst slammed there yet. WG. if you have anything you would like to discuss with me, send me a direct e-mail. I'd be happy to respond to you. Tom Dorsey
