Barry Richards, Senior High Tech Analyst with Sprott Securities, wrote Morning Meeting Notes on Wi-LAN Inc. whereby he gave its stock a rating of 5 (Strong Buy) with a 12-Month target price of $10.00. These notes indicate that Sprott has initiated coverage of Wi-LAN. Barry has been in the high tech business for over ten years and stocks that he recommeneded include Teklogix and RIM. He regularly follows other high tech companies such as RAND, MDSI Mobile, Leitch, Eicon, Descartes, C-MAC, Crosskeys and Architel. Barry had attended the launch on Tuesday and was obviously impressed.
