I see you're in trading mode <g>. I think my strategy is a bit more conservative than what you're suggesting.

I prefer to take a position early on with far more than I intend to hold, and then sell the "excess" as it moves up. This is similar to the "sell half on a 100% move" strategy -- although I tend to sell in smaller pieces than that. e.g. I've already sold about 25% of my MAN position (most of which was bought between $2.25 and $2.80), with three trades in the $5 to $6 range. I tried to get another fill at $6.95 but missed out :^(

With IPM I did something similar, and then was lucky to sell a chunk at about $10 before it crashed. I tried trading it after that but mostly lost money from then on. Overall I did pretty well, but still ended up with some wallpaper!

There are as many trading methods as there are people. The important thing is to develop a system that suits your own risk profile.
