Speaking of books, did you read about the book by Euclid that was just discovered? It's one of the "lost" ones, on parchment, a cleric scraped it and used it for a religious text, but someone found it and they are restoring it. Makes you wonder what else is out there, sitting on some archive shelf, undiscovered. Also makes me want to learn to read Greek. I started it, but that was one of the times I had to drop out (no money). It's close enough to English that it's not too difficult, at least the easy stuff they feed beginners.
