With the Kathlon chip it seems to me that AMD is leaving the part of the market
that didn't know a micro chip from a potato chip to compete in a part of the market
that cares very much about internal components, reliability and deliverability.

Very well put point. If you flame out in a market area, just move up the food chain. Customers up there couldn't care less about those things you mention, could they? Right.
