From today's WSJ (Business Bulletin) -

"...Aiming in part to lure younger buyers, the Mint recently drafted Kermit the Frog to star in ads. The coins are sold through a mail-order program and a three-month-old Web site (www.usmint.gov)..."

Another result of the government witness protection program. This really shows that Joe Camel has been involuntarily impressed into service from a down and out bar in Brooklyn. This also explains the missing money supply totals from the official statistics. -g-
