Mohan, interesting balance between inflation and non-inflation as Asia recovers. Have a good lunch...will chat with you when you return.

Mohan-san:

The Asian recovery is uneven at best. Countries like Japan, Thailand are showing
progress. But look at the Phillipines with the new President, and look at Indonesia,
which had a "free" election June 7 even under the "supervision" of Jimmy Carter but
only half of the vote has been counted, plus amid accusations of voting fraud.

When AG was asked to compare the economic system of the US versus a troubled
Asian country, he reportedly said the following:
In the US, we have
a. Johnny CASH who represents the common folks
b. Bob HOPE who provides laughter when the chips are down and
c. Stevie WONDER who as a blind black man gives inspiration that you can be
anybody and succeed in this society.

That Asian country has:

No CASH, No HOPE, No WONDER

Have a nice Dell day tomorrow!
