I knew the reverse was true, but now I also see your point. Thanks for the clarification.

Looking at time & sales data from today I see a 100,000 share block at 16:09 was processed at 13 1/2. Not sure if it was at the bid or ask.

IRID has 19.7 million share outstanding (of which 18.9 million float). Today it trades 7.8 million shares and yesterday 5.1 million shares. It is almost like within a few days, we may have a complete new set of IRID stock owners.

It is so unusual for a stock to trade like this. Normally, it happens for a stock that got spiked up with good news and a lot of day tradings, or the first day of an IPO, or a stock that got dumped real fast with a lot of day trading activities.

What is going on? Is the trading pattern for the last few days good or bad for IRID? Are people getting out or in? Do we get new IRID stock owners or just a lot of individual day trading and short covering? This is the first time that I experience a stock behave like this. Had anyone see this in other stocks? I would appreciate any comments or explanation on this.
