AOL PC's? Talk about AOL EVERYWHERE STRATEGY.....WOW!!! Old Stevie is a busy boy ain't he. While analysts keep worrying about no cable deal. AOL has struck major DSL deals with baby bells, WCOM's, and now DIRECT TV....for Satellite distribution... Out of 3 broadband strategies. Cable, DSL, and Satellite. AOL has bagged 2 of them. However, one major move was announced today. AOL PC's. With the possible acquisition of Microworkz or the co-branding of AOL into their PC's clearly shows that AOL WILL BE EVERYWHERE. Take me for example. I recently purchased a $2,500 Dell System. I am quite happy with it. Only one problem. Over 90% use is strictly Internet. Everyone wants to go online. But not everyone can dish out $2,500, $1,000 or even $500 for a PC. However, a PC for $200 running integrated AOL software plus Java Ready OS from SUN/NETSCAPE with DSL internal modems ready for high speed internet service provided by AOL and you are looking at some serious SHIIIIIIT!!! (Sorry ...this is just huge) AOL could pull an I-MAC type phenomenon much like APPLE did bringing new users currently un-tapped due to PC prices. Look for these AOL PC's to go onsale just about everywhere. AOL's strategy is much like the cellular phone industry went thru recently. Where Phones became commodities and what mattered was content or service. This is the significance of AOL's move to PC's. This will further press boxmaker margins as many new customers opt for the $200 AOL PC. After news like these......you have to kill me to get me to sell my $2,500 shares of AOL. Even more. I hope they keep selling. I want to buy another 500 shares at wholesale prices. AOL will make me a millionaire by end of 2000. All the SHORTS in the planet can't stop this from happening. These are buying opportunities and I will take them. SHORTS make money short term. I make money Long Term. Plus, capital gain taxes are less if you hold longer than a year. No matter how you slice it. AOL will be everywhere. AOLTV, AOLPC's, AOL Long Distance, AOL Music, AOL Shopping, AOL Movies.....you name it. They are building something HUGE!!!! AOL is not an ISP anymore. They are building a FULLY-INTERACTIVE MULTI-MEDIA INTERNATIONAL CONGLOMERATE. The future is so bright it blinds me. Thanks Stevie.....my family luv ya!!!! Hector
