Michelle,

I do think that the market has "priced in" at least one or two rate hikes. However, as much as everyone is expecting that Greenspan and the fed will hike rates, it will still probably cause some shock waves through the market. The anticipation is one thing but the actual event is another. We may think that we're ready for the news but we still don't want to hear it. If during his speech he hints at only a 25 basis point raise then the effect should be short lived. If he hints at further increases, that could send some serious reverberations into the market.

Whatever the reaction, earnings season is just around the corner and so far things look good for GNET based on Russell's statements ("comfortable with estimates"). Today's action may be a little profit taking after this tremendous volatility or it may be MM's pushing down the price at the close for institutional buying. I'm only speculating and would appreciate other input.
