I am back from the net, unable to find the references, so far, I did a lot of research on Kaiser for a case I was working on. I think maybe the boats were cement, not concrete? Anyway, I agree that breathing cement dust is horrible.

When I worked at Exxon Refinery, there were guys who were too macho to wear safety equipment. That was 25 years ago. Did he wear a respirator?
