And notice he didn't mention the Compaq/CMGI rumor in that article. Two days ago in his AOL chat, Cramer said this (http://www.thestreet.com/talk/chats/758524.html) :

"I thought the CMGI rumor was completely bogus. That rumor started with Dan Dorfman, who was famous for bogus rumors at CNBC and now seems to be up to his old tricks. I blasted out of some Compaq as soon as I saw that one. Jeesh!"

So, here is Cramer essentially calling Dorfman a corrupt rumor-monger. Meanwhile, later that night, the mainstream press verified that Compaq was indeed in talks with CMGI about selling their net assets. I'm not making a statement about Dorfman's reliability, but it does prove just how little Cramer knows of the goings'on of the street. He likes to brag that he has access to so much information that "newbies" don't even know about. Meanwhile, his writings do nothing but prove he's just guessing.

Here's a new tag line TSC can use when advertising Cramer's prowess: "Cramer is an unadulterated idiot - that means his stupidity is 100% pure."
