"Lets hope the ASND holders will hold on to what they have for awhile"; William, at the ASND special meeting yesterday Bob Macklin, VP - Marketing said that the new InterNetworking Div. will retain the entrepreneurial culture that was a guiding light for Ascend and will basically run its own show. Macklin pointed out that the growth will be in data networks, not the traditional voice networks, and McGinn himself is more of the mold that's the Ascend style - so the tail may end up doing a bit of dog-wagging. I'm holding onto my newly issued LU shares for a good while...with Lucent's longterm relationships and track record, with Bell Labs and now Ascend as well, thre's no reason to think they cannot do anything but succeed in this arena. As always we shall see... Dee Jay
