Shorting takes a mental rearrangement from a "optimistic attitude to a pessimistic one..after a while you can flip transparently without to much difficulty.

So is shorting dangerous...a comparison

LONG- I buy a stock at $28.00 and set my stop loss at 27.50 with a limit of $27.30 max loss on the trade is .70c unless of course it jumps my stop limit and I am still holding it...then the loss is significant

SHORT- I borrow a stock and sell it at $28.00 and set my buy stop at $28.50 without a limit. Max loss....when I get filled

The risks are virtually the same

Well put Whats Up With That, as long as you trade
with stops in place, exact opposite of how one
trades long , the risk is exactly the same.
My biggest loss was be cause I broke that rule .
I allowed fundamentals and emotion get me :(:(:(

Best Regards
