Not to start a flame war - but I think you guys are really taking this too far. Do you *honestly* believe MSFT is going to be hurt by this AOL/Microwerks deal? C'mon. I have far more faith in MSFT. AOL is engaging in competition, pure and simple. Yes, AOL has used the trial to stick it to MSFT, which is not terribly ethical, and yes, AOL has tried to hide their anti-MSFT competitive plans (so as to make MSFT look like more of a bully) but you know, there is no "fair" in business. I don't think Jackson is so stupid that he cannot see beyond the AOL/Netscape/Sun charade. He knows these guys are not angels, and would cut MSFT's throat, given half a chance.

I am very secure w/ my MSFT holdings. I THANK the DOJ for the case - I can pick up more shares on the cheap to add to my longer term holdings (one of my first posts to this board, was a "love letter" to the DOJ, precisely because they've given us such great buy opportunities).

I predict that when history is written, you will see MSFT wipe the floor with AOL. My $ is on softie.

In short, its just the usual shenanigans - but what else do you expect? Longer term, this will not matter one bit.
