I have, for long before the trial, seen MSFT as a whipping boy for the jealousy/greed of those who can't compete/think they can better their bottom line by pulling another down. Was it GG who said that 10 years from now, we will laugh at the idea that MSFT was a giant co, because of those who will come to dwarf it? Apologies to GG if it wasn't he. Anyway, the MO in this country seems increasingly to get a leg up any way you can, ethical if possible, and if not....

The resentment of some toward Bill Gates borders on the pathological, IMO. When a person sees his pic on a mag. cover, and turns it face down, well, what's up with that?

Don't own MSFT, never have, just MHO's...

I am so sick of the discussions about the political aspects of the trial that I refuse (tonight) to discuss that vein. However, the business side of the trial, which is not discussed enough, gets me going. This is a trial concocted by businesses that fail, not because of unfair competition, but because of intense competition. eom
