windup, wind down, who cares. People were also going to burn cattle manure to power cities, but that doesn't mean Iomega is inventing a pocket to poop in to power the clik!.

fact is, boner, you believed Iomega was giving the clik! an automatic wind up device. admit it, you screwed up. go ahead and admit it. without checking the url, you believed it. i'm still laughing.

>>Actually, a wind-up device to deliver power for electrical devices actually exists. In fact, a couple of months ago I read it was rumored that Apple was considering using one (for about a second) in their new consumer portable computer for the education market. It was to be a miniaturized wind-up power unit made by Citizen.

There is currently a radio that uses this wind-up power unit (for remote areas with no power). Here is a link to it:<<

Uh huh. So now you're saying that it's a perfectly reasonable idea?

Then why were you laughing out loud about it earlier today?

Oh yeah, that's right. It was a stupid idea when you thought Iomega was doing it.

Maybe you could upgrade to the latest version of Detractomatic (TM). Maybe then you would make at least some sense.
