Thanks, Ted, for bringing the article over...I recall the release and
I agree that protracted litigation is an expensive waste of time, energy...ie valuable resources...IMO, the acceptance of the settlement was the prudent decision and the definitive admission by Gtech!

I esp like that ILTS will be "watching":

<<<Added ILTS' Attorney Martin Galbut, "Given that some of our principal claims were that GTECH's proposal was not in compliance with certain mandatory requirements of the RFP, we will be carefully monitoring the Arizona Lottery's enforcement to ensure that GTECH fulfills all the requirements. Particularly in light of the extra cost to the State in selecting GTECH over ILTS, we fully expect that the Governor's office, the Legislature and Attorney General's office will also monitor both the Lottery and GTECH to ensure GTECH's compliance throughout the entire contract.">>>

I think ILTS will stay on top of this, don't you?

Let's see how they fare in S. Africa....now that would be a feather in their cap, huh? and China, too....the Hong Kong connection lends credibility, in my estimation.

Don't be a stranger, Ted...

My best,
~T.
