RTev, What do think of the possibility of a spin off of MSN internet access. An internet analyst (on Bloomberg TV) just stated that MSFT may spinoff the ISP to shareholders or buy another ISP.

I tend to believe that they will acquire first---get bigger, then spin off. They want to control AOL's dominance before they get out of the biz itself. Another possibility, partner with major PC vendors and and then spin off as some sort of joint venture with an independent CEO----maybe name it "Microsoft Online" (only if they maintain over 50% control). That would definately be more catchy than MSN internet access.
I hope their new advertising people can give them some ideas.
