Well TM, Here is what I think. First of all I bought EN this year to have the pure gold play. That is why EN almost caught up with FN earlier this year. So how does this idea grab you. EN and FN merge to form a gold royalty company and then they spin off everything else.

With the larger merged companies the other non gold plays make no sense. Good investments maybe, but not good for the stock price of a pure gold play. They would probably keep the Stillwater Royalty though.
