Joe, yes, it was a strange day to be sure. Perhaps a newsletter recommended it. . .and it was hit with all those small volume buys. . .then when it was, it upticked and the sells or shorts in larger size [by convertible owners?] that were sitting on the sidelines "all or none" were able to be put through. 20.2k, 12k, 10k, 12k, 10k, 8k, 30k, 8k, 8k, 8k. . etc. Grabbing at straws here. . . but in order to short with large volume or to dump with large volume. . .the price needs to be supported by a steady stream of buys. . . otherwise the price will tank and defeat the purpose.
