Elliot,

It is good news in the respect that Spescom seems to be taking this market very seriously -- as they should. They have a reputation for quality and innovation. Spescom, QSP, and Staffware make for a legitimate presence in Ex-USA Markets. All three companies have integrated EB into their respective lead products. This won't result in the cash that ALTS would have received by working direct, but It'll bring in business that would never have been available in the first place. It also allows ALTS proper to be sold into existing accounts that needed more then just what EB offers.

The fact is -- most companies are seeking integrated solutions as these.

Another small plus is that the European and Asian markets are finally starting to show some signs of life after much delay. They've been behind in addressing Y2K issues. These applications can replace non/questionable Y2K solutions currently in place.

Finally, RE will be able to focus on the Americas. This is strategically/logistically sensible.
