Elizabeth:

When you start using expressions like "completely bogus" and "ridiculous" to refer to other peoples' estimates or opinions, you don't really help your position. Most of us who post here may not be mining professionals, but we do have some investment experience. Don't treat people like fools unless you want to look like one yourself.

<<To suggest that MAN is worth $5.39 per share based on a 5% "valuation" of the metal in the ground is ridiculous. >>

Not more than taking $25 per ounce of gold in the ground (which is 10%). It is a valid method to get an early idea of how much a deposit may be worth. Certainly it cannot match calculating an NPV base on future cash flows... but we are not there yet.

I am sure you don't know that economic base metals deposits have a NPV between 4 and 8% of their total metal content.
