If this thread can come to a point where we can discuss short and long trades without having a fight about it, it will probably be the first one on SI!

Quite honestly...that is the plan. When I started the thread i wanted to be able to post a buy or a sell long or short on a stock and not have someone that has a meaningful relationship with the same stock (in love with it) tell me I was nuts!

I read all the US threads and soon realized that what causes people to drop their biases is "making money". If the thread made people money than inevitably people wouldn't care what side of the market they were on. Mr. Pinks thread seems to work fairly well but he attracts the longs when he declares short, or the shorts when he declares long. But, the difference is this thread has no "Mr. Pink", this thread does not post long or short more than the day...so hopefully we won;t attract the wrong crowds!

I think we are ready. i have read the responses to most short positions over the last 3 weeks and there has not been one abrasive statement....
