El <<"Compaq Computer(CPQ) is also ready to stage a heady comeback."> They have been ready since April but indicate they either A; do not want to b; do not know how c; both a&b. Lost cause... Instead of an IPO that could still make a few bucks they price AV at about $.125 a share,,, does not sound like a plan to me,,, sounds more like "grubbing for dollars".

El, If CQP stages a comeback, today is as good a day as any. IMHO the stock should move up a couple of points today, maybe even 25 or short of it. Time to get on the CPQ train, it is leaving the station and headed north for the summer. I hope Ben is ready with some good news, so we can head up.

El, maybe CPQ should acquire GTW for the following reasons:

-it will make me happy

-they get Ted old boy as a CEO

-they get a jump on the direct business

-this may ease pricing pressure in the industry

:o)
