I guess that depends on your time horizon and investment style. I do more than my share or trading, and thus for me, the short term is very important. But I always tell people that they are better off investing for the long term unless they need to access the money immediately. A ture buy and hold investor never has to pay capital gains taxes you know. <G>

For any traders out there who want their nuts on the line, I am calling for another internut rally late next week, possibly as early as Tuesday afternoon.... <G>

Not the Resident Bear but...

having amassed a good size profit in equities over the years I am on a mission to take them before the next bear market begins even if it means I must leave you guys at the party a bit earlier than planned. Currently I am at 70% equities 30% bonds / cash.

Let us also remember Bob missed the 1987 "correction"...for the record it was a crash at my house...and his new timing model has yet to be tested during bear periods.

I just want to hold on to my farm and harvest them crops...
