Note to a Teacher:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My Dear _______,
You have been on my mind the past few weeks ~ have been going through a lot of old school things ~ running across some papers you wrote (i.e. Lewis and Clark) and marveled at your presentation of material.
I really never told you (maybe a time or two) what a great teacher you are. In all my years in teaching ~ being around teachers growing up (terrible sentence structure) you without a doubt have been and are one of the very best.
Your rapport with children ~ especially with kids at that age level ~ is a thing of beauty ~ they respect you because they know you care ~
Anyway I just wanted you to know that it was one of the greatest things I have done in my life ~ having you as a teacher on our staff. (The first was marrying my husband.)
You have given so much of yourself in the teaching profession ~ I just hope that it has given you something back. It has, if you look at all the boys and girls you have influenced and given them the curiosity to want to learn ~ and also good study habits.
Hope.....you are holding up as school draws to the end.
My Love to a wonderful woman and one of the very best in the teaching profession.
