<<<<Dough,
This move by AOL, to most likely give cheap PC's in exchange for long term subscribership contract, IS A HUGE MOVE BY AOL!
This will allow AOL to bring PCs and the internet to the masses, including the ones that thus far have not been able to afford $1,000 + PCs.
AOL will immensely increase their critical mass, now at over 17 million. Can you spell D-O-M-I-N-A-N-C-E?>>>>>>>>>>>>>

TARA,, I hate to sound like a broken record but what I like about AOL is that it appeals to the MASSES, and the masses is where the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is. People like you and I and fellow SIers' are a SLIM minority of the total population. The VAST majority think broadband is a musical group. Until the MASSES catch up 56k modems with dial-up connections is a market with a, dare I say huge upside.
