If anyone can help with my little problem, it would be greatly appreciated-

I just added a third monitor, and it seems fine, except the mouse pointer does not show on it. I can move windows to it, and would be able to work in them if I could see the pointer. I can go back and drag them back to one of the other screens by guessing where the title bar is. I just can't see the pointer on the screen.

Everything in my settings looks normal. When I switch monitors to different cards, the problem stays with the card, not the monitor.

TIA for all input-
Max

hello hp,

all right, you got the software! <g3> and so far, the 101 problems it found and repaired on the initial run is the highest amount i've heard from a new user. i remember that it found 54 probs on my system. and from that point on, my pc has run better, and has been more manageable... because of norton's diagnostics and maintenance.

i am starting to lean towards shutting off crashguard for awhile, to see if it is actually causing browser crashes. so many people say that's the case. it's easy enough to enable, and i have the option set for it to turn on with each reboot.

one of the cool features of systemworks is that it discovers so many of these problems while they are still in the low to medium range of severity, thus averting greater failure.

do you have antivirus5.0 up and running? you might want to set it to scan any new file download automatically. there's also some updated file extensions to add to the virus scanner. i posted them here awhile back. #reply-10075683 (i'll bet you'll need to add these in.)

i wish you lots of success with the software. glad you like it.

:)
