What goes around, comes around. Consider Pfizer's plethora of "me-too" drugs. Consider ag-bio, and DeKalb-Pfizer Genetics. What separates the big pharmas from the generics and research companies if not arcana in patents and licenses? (Hint: a cynic might say the big guys have bought the politicians, but a contrarian might note that they could be out-bid-:)
