SFD: Concerning my reference to your patriotism it was truly tongue and cheek. Since you missed the subtle point let me be more open; I do not look at your ilk as either patriotic or moral. You throw present day institutions up the flag pole as something in which we should trust and cite your international experience. Give me a break the present administration is trying hard to become more like the moribund and godless political machines of Europe with every passing day. On the present path of stifling individual effort and controlling capital markets through heavy handed governmental interference we will become as backward and hopeless as those Third World countries that folks such as yourself are so fond of comparing our lifestyles to.

I won't embarrass you with where I have been and what I have done over the course of 60 years but let me assure you you don't appear arrogant - the word I would use is sophomoric. Your experiences might fit in my shirt top pocket.

We are not likely to remain number 1 if we continue on our present path of governmental encroachment into every facet of our lives. Yes I am unhappy with the moral entropy and the increase of governmental interference that have reached a high watermark with this administration and dismayed by those such as yourself that endorse such policies, while at the same time branding themselves as patriots. It reminds me of Clinton addressing the troops while garbed in a bomber jacket replete with all the patches reserved for combat pilots or reviewing the troops dressed in fatigues. I'll have to end here as I am about to wretch.

Keep up your illusions, maybe you will wake up tomorrow and see yourself as Patrick Henry or George Patton.
