Good thing you are not a lawyer, you would never win a case. It is ridiculous to suggest that the effect on a stock's price would be the same whether a contract was awarded for 2 million or for 100 million. They were sued because the announcement of a huge order caused the stock price to explode and consequently plummet when the order could not be filled. Your premise suggests that a small order announcement of let's say 2 million would have sent the stock on a similarly wild ride. Had the volatility caused by a significant announcement not occurred, they would not have been sued. And by the way, it looks like Fred's friends had trouble picking up shares in the low seven's...Valence has now assumed the role of the tortoise as opposed to the hare, which is fine with me...
