I just finished reading the discussion of shorting pennies a little while back and..... It has seemed to me to be the most certain way to make money in these issues. Simply find the dog which is getting the most pump play and internet hype and odds are very good that it's going to tank soon! Or, grab the issue which has just been bumped off of NASD or recently has been honored with the "E" designation! Is it really possible for a US citizen to open an account with a Canadian Brokerage and pull this off? Does the downtick rule still apply? Or, would it be an accounting nightmare at tax time? Has anyone here actually done it? R Bell
