Claude, for heavens sake. The guarantee has nothing to do with raising money. Granted, it's one of the conditions just like having a trainer 10,000 ton per day mine.

Manhattan has to guarantee that there will be no harm to the community or to the people or to the livestock or to the farms or to the water or to the church. What company can do this and what collateral do they have to post.

Sort of reminds me of when Freeport drilled the condemnation holes at Bre-X. They said there was nothing there and the stock (Bre-X) still traded at C$3.50. If they were wrong then they've bet Grasberg, no? Yes!

What happened to Boliden in Spain? What happened to Placer in the Philippines? Do you think any mining company is going to GUARANTEE no harm? What does this mean? How much do they have to bet? Please think about this tonight.
