Re: "Today, Intel can pretty much give the damn Celerons away and not have an effect on their margins," Sanders told analysts and reporters during a conference call this afternoon

and who said this?
"It is hard to be profitable competing against a company that gives CPUs away"

Could they be one in the same person? could our Scumbria be too busy minding this store to mind the other store? They sure think a like.

<Intel makes Flash also. Intel happens to be the MARKET leader in FLASH memory - with maybe 35% of the FLASH market.>
You little !diot. 35% is not the same as 90% in x86
CPU market. Please try to think before posting and stop
creaming your pants and crapping SI threads fearing
AMD K7 - it is no threat for Intel domination because
of limited manufacturing capacity of AMD.

<If AMD is putting customers on allocation, wouldn't it
follow that Intel's Flash business is BOOMING as well?>
Not necessary. What if AMD flash is much better
than Intel's, and that's why customers are lining
up for AMD flash and not Intel's?

I believe street analysts are somewhat smarter than
you, mister little nobody with huge but groundless
ambitions.
